              CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ARES

Be sure and check the NEWS column at left for the latest information.

Central Mississippi ARES was formed by K1REZ in 2020 from defunct ARES groups
in five counties in central Mississippi, Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Scott and Copiah.

Our goal is to train members to operate with our served agencies when requested. Our group has unlimited access to several VHF repeaters that will cover all five counties with a voice net as well as an NBEMS digital net. We operate a weekly voice training net on VHF, a weekly digital training net on VHF and HF
and a Winlink net on HF.
See Net Operations for complete info

We are heavily involved on the Section (State) level within Mississippi and surrounding states via our Section Phone Net and Section NBEMS Net.

We meet monthly on the second Tuesday at the Rankin Co. EOC 601 Marquette Rd. Brandon, MS immediately following the CMSARA Club meeting at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend both meetings.
